Project O.R.B.I.T.

This is a theoretical implementation plan that I developed for a teen summer science program at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. I created an experience that introduced students to the Engineering Design Method through a team-driven, project-based, week-long experience.

This program would be catered to benefit high school students in underserved neighborhoods of Chicago, who are currently enrolled in the Chicago Public Schools. It takes into consideration the specific needs of these students, such as transportation and mentoring, and focuses on the practice of real-world skills and exposure to different careers and areas within the STEM fields.
